The Castle

Out of the darkness comes a rider carrying a message for the king. He is tired, covered in mud and in haste. Before him is the outline of a castle built high on a hill. Rushing across the drawbridge, the man bangs hard on the castle gates. A face appears in the door’s speakeasy. “Let me in,” the man cries, “I carry an important message for the King!” The door swings open and the man rushes over the threshold.

Come inside the castle with the messenger and discover a mystery, a plot to take power, and lives lived in the shadow of sadness and deceit. As well as learning a lot about castles and medieval history. A story in 9 Chapters.
